Paul Oakenfold, formerly known as "Oakenfold", is an English record producer and trance DJ. He is a three-time Grammy Award and two-time World Music Awards nominee. He was voted the No. 1 DJ in the World twice by DJ Magazine. Oakenfold has donated these remixes for Future Dreamers & Achievers. Also on the CD with his remixes is New York based DJ/remixer/producer Norty Cotto. One of the most passionate pioneers of Latin house, Norty Cotto became seriously involved in popular music while working along with John "Jellybean" Benítez, and to his credit has remixed several Billboard Club Chart Number One hits. Norty has also donated his time to do this for this great cause. Coming on January 8, 2021. ...This was to be an exciting day for the artist Ezmay...Her debut single release. After many years of challenges and disappointments she finally got the opportunity to release her first single with several remixes by great DJ'S. This Remix is by Legend DJ Norty Cotto. A New York-based DJ/remixer/producer and one of the most passionate pioneers of Latin house, Norty worked along John "Jellybean" Benítez on Noel's debut album. Inspired by early house -- including the post-disco freestyle which emerged in Latin communities in major U.S. cities -- Norty Cotto teamed up with successful acts in the dance music field working on records; from the old-school U.S. house to the energetic sound of Dominican merengue mixed with electronic music known as merenhouse. Sadly, Esme Maldonado (aka Ezmay), passed away on November 18, 2020. As per the mothers permission, the Future Dreamers & Achievers label released these mixes & promoted it as Esme would have wanted. Esme wanted 100% of her song to be donated to the charity Future Dreamers & Achievers. She actually signed with FDA, the only world non profit record label under its divisions.
